The Child
The children in the Kamaraj Illam are from below poverty line, no or low income parentage, from slums and few were beggar children.
There are girl children whose relatives take them to their home after their parents death and send them to do household work, girls abandoned and neglected by their relatives.
Some children’s parents are widows, deserted, father is a alcoholic starving for food and daily needs.
Parents come to Kamaraj Illam for admission of their girls child for fear protection for girl children.
Parents who are physically challenged and unable to take care of their child or those who suffer from illness and health issues also admit children here.
These children are admitted in
the Valluvar Gurukulam
to continue their studies, for their safety and to lead a happy childhood.
