OBJECTIVE
The objective is to change the lives of the orphaned children and/or destitute children regardless of their circumstances by providing them love, care, nourishment, guidance, responsibility and good education so that they can be a value in the society with a bright future.
WHO WE ARE – RABO HOME
In 1979, Rabo Home was founded by Rabo Bank Foundation (Netherlands) for Children of Landless Farmers and Women on 20th November on occasion of WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY by Dr. Wind, then Director of the Rabo Bank.
The Rabo home was inaugurated by Prabhudas Patwari, Governor of the Indian state of Tamil Nadu on 13th June, 1980.
This home has been in operation for forty years. To date, more than 3500 children have benefited from education. The families of all those who benefited are coolies, working as day labourers and agricultural labour or are nomadic.
